D.e.i. Consulting

When it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion (D.E.I.) work, I think the root often boils down to two questions: 1.) Do you see me? and  2.) Do you hear me? That’s a simplification, yes, but more often than not DEI work is about acknowledgment. People want-and deserve-to be seen, heard, and acknowledged for who they are. My approach is on the HOW. I don’t believe in just giving you hand outs with a list of terms on it and sending you on your way because, frankly, that’s lazy, and most people don’t learn that way. We learn from experience. We learn from engaging with each other; from hearing stories and learning how people were made to feel. The handouts and definitions are helpful, but the real work is engaging with the content.
