Who's this guy?
My name is Eric Fleming. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wi. I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I've been living in New York City for over 10 years. My background is in theatre (which makes me a weirdo.) I was that kid that performed the entire movie Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo for my family. Yep...that kid. I still love dancing like a maniac. I'm a passionate lover of life. I'm a freak for live music. I'm ridiculously curious about what makes us tick, what drives us, and what stops us in our tracks. This curiousity, energy, and passion are major players in my coaching style.
People always ask me what got me into coaching. The short answer is "Oprah." (Side note: I met her and she told me that I was awesome. I can now die.) The longer answer? I'm fascinated by potential. One of the largest lessons that coaching has taught me is that more is possible than you or I could ever imagine. I'm fascinated by what can happen when we allow ourselves to explore possibilites; when we try on different ways of viewing obstacles. I'm excited by "Aha" moments. I'm blown away by the whispers that emerge from our inner wisdom.
I graduated from Coaching for Transformation (CFT) in November of 2013. CFT is a rigorous, holistic coaching program based in New York City. The program changed my life. It changed the way that I listen. It changed the way that I ask questions. It made me trust my intuition. I left the program knowing that I was whole, resourceful, and capable of achieving the life that I want. If there was one thing that I would want my clients to leave our sessions knowing, it's that same realization that I had. That's the minimum I expect from coaching. I expect to uncover greatness. I expect breakthroughs. I expect change.
